Everything I have ordered from here has been consistently delicious on several occasions. I haven't actually been to the physical restaurant though, just delivery.

My Gf really wanted heart shaped pizza for valentines & little star was kind enough to fulfill the request. Both pizzas were really tasty & also really enjoyed the cornmeal crust, ordered chicken wings as well & they were the bomb. Staff was very attentive & kind.

My favorite pizza restaurant! Love the crunchy, non oily crust. Lots of options to choose on their menu. You can choose thin, Chicago or Detroit style. Our waitress recommended drizzling honey on our pizza. We can now never have pizza without it! Service is really good too.

Terrific pizzas and salads! We've heard of this place and have been on our "restaurants to try" list and we're very pleased with the service and food! We ordered for pick up twice recently and tried the mixed salad and 1/2 and 1/2 16" and 12" thin-crust pizzas "old school" and "Vegetarian". The first time we had to call them because we weren't able to choose the 1/2 and 1/2 when we wanted to order the 16" size pizza. We called around 6:40 on a Friday night and were told it would ready in 30-35 minutes and they were right! The pizza was just coming out of the oven just when we arrived. They are pretty organized and have dedicated "Pick up" section (far right side) when you walk in. The salad was very fresh and the large size "Mixed" salad included mixed greens, sliced red bell peppers, sliced red onions, blue cheese, sliced cherry tomatoes with balsamic vinaigrette on the side. The portion was so generous for the large size we saved just less than half of it for the next day (including the dressing). The 16" size thin crust pizza was amazingly good!! Perfectly made and cooked without burnt crust. Again, like with the salad, the pizza had a very good amount/portion of ingredients and was only about o eat half of it for two people. The sitting area appeared to be busy and very clean. We highly recommend Little Star Pizza!!

After mourning the closure of the Divisadero location (RIP), we ventured to the Mission Street spot for a late lunch. The vibe here is much brighter, with big windows that give it a lively and airy feel, definitely a nice change of pace. We lucked out with happy hour pricing on a pitcher of beer, which paired perfectly with a large Caesar salad and a big pie (broccolini, mushrooms, and sausage) to share. The salad was spot on! tender lettuce and what I'm almost certain were house-made croutons (delicious and crunchy!). The pizza was flavorful and well-cooked, but the broccolini didn't quite shine as a pizza topping. We found ourselves hunting for it on the pie. Still, with great happy hour deals and solid lunch specials, this spot is worth the trek.

Came here for happy hour and it's an excellent deal; $7 personal pizzas, $5 glasses of wine, $7 meatballs. We also got a cauliflower appetizer - would definitely order again - and a large Green Goddess Salad which was delicious and filling, with a lot of the dressing on the bottom. The server was attentive in filling our waters and taking our orders. The seating area is medium-sized and wasn't too busy at 5pm. Happy hour ends at 5:30, but I would definitely come back to try some of their signature pies.

Pizza that you can customize across deep dish, thin crust, Detroit style?! Why do other chains not do this... Got to try half half for thin crust and deep dish. That's a hack I learned from reading other Yelp reviews btw. Also ask for honey because it goes rly well with the saltier pizzas Servers were nice but food came out a bit slow. Will definitely come back in the future

I've been here many times and they never disappoint! I love the ability to choose my own toppings for the deep dish pizza. While the deep dish takes a bit of time to make, it's very worth it. It's cute and casual inside, and can get busy on the weekends, so I would recommend a reservation.

Hey SF! here for the cali classic and after a long day of bball, needed some dinner. we came at about 5:30 on a saturday and thankfully there weren't too many people. the waitress greeted us and suggested some pies. we got an all star (the meaty one) a california (red sauce) and a little star (pesto based) the cali and little star were deep dish and the all star was detroit style the pizzas were great. we had so much food left over which is always wanted out of pizza. the all star was super salty and greasy, just what i like from a meat-heavy pizza and i really liked the detroit style. the cali with the pesto was a deep dish pizza and it was super good. the pesto base was a good balance to the heavier meaty pizza we had the little star was the red sauce based one and it had veggies and was probably my least fav of the three. had here, they have a sort of corn meal crust so the crust has a sweeter taste which i enjoyed. they ALSO gave us honey, which i put on all 3 diff pizzas and i think it was best with the all star meat pizza because it was sweet and salty overall, solid spot. its funny because its close by to another pizza shop across te street (won't be named) 4/5

Deep dish pizza galore! Little Star deserves all the stars! If you're a fan of deep dish pizza, this is the place for you. If not, then try their thin crust pizza. They also have salads, sandwiches and sides. If you're into salads, the "little gems" are young romaine lettuce. What makes their deep dish pizza stand out is definitely their crust. The crispy crust gives a strong structure to the pie and a delicious last few bites before moving onto the next slice. The deep dish pizzas come in two sizes, 9 inch or 12 inch. The 9 inch is probably good for 2-3 people while the 12 inch is plenty for 4-5 people. Of course, if you're like us and love leftovers, order a bit more so you can savor it at home as well. Just be sure to account for the cooking time - they take about 30 minutes to come out of the oven. While you sit in the comfortable chairs waiting for your meal, soak in the city atmosphere and witness the occasional take out order. Also if you have children, ask about coloring sheets. Our server, Bryce, knew exactly what we needed before we even asked and gave out a couple sheets for our little ones to keep them occupied. Consider using the restroom which is pretty clean but be aware that the entrance cross paths with staff passing through so look both ways and walk. When the food was served, it came out hot and fresh. The cheesy garlic dippers and pizza were presented beautifully with a good amount of seasoning and sauce. If you want some more Parmesan cheese or red chili flakes, you can sprinkle some from the shakers on the table. The Little Star had a good combination of vegetables. Everything came pre-cut and was easy to share. Needless to say, we dug in right away and got instantly full from one slice of each. We didn't have room for dessert but they do have a couple options on their menu (cookies and cheesecake). Overall, Little Star definitely deserves the spotlight for their excellent deep dish pizza and exceptional quality of service and cleanliness. I would go as far as to say that this may be my favorite deep dish pizza place yet. If you're on the east bay, this is worth the drive and the bridge toll. The indoor seating is quite abundant so if you're considering hosting a larger party, they can certainly accommodate!
